I have 2 young male yellow naped amazons for sale. They are about one year old now and haven't sold due to limited advertising. Both are healthy, good quality birds. They are eating a healthy diet of pellets, veggies, sprouted seeds and veggies. Talking a little bit. Love toys and very playful.
Will accept some petting but have the typical young bird short attention span right now. They like to talk with you, get a quick scratch and be around you. But want to play independently too. Not a good bird for someone that wants to sit on the couch with the bird on their shoulder for a long time. But great for someone looking for a companion and doesn't mind if the bird just wants to be a bird sometimes. They are affectionate pets but as with most amazons, don't like to be coddled too much. One of them is very personable and enjoys scratches, $700. The other also enjoys scratches, but less often and is more independent, $650. Will ship via Delta or Continental Airline at buyer's expense.
