Hi , how much are your baby Macaws are and how far are you from Indianapolis. Thanks for your time and I look forward to hearing from you. I already have a big cage about 4’ long by 2’ wide and 4’ tall . What do they eat! I would think fruits and seeds but not sure my family had yellow head Mexican parrots growing up. And have rescued pigeons from no feathers to flying free and coming back on their own . I have rescued all kinds o& birds from a Kestrel falcon from no feathers to finding out she was a female by her coloring a baby qual all winter to finally leaving in the Spring. Same thing she just showed up one day in the middle of a horse stall on the floor I actuall6 kept her in it he same cage that I previously mentioned. I would leave the door open. A Redtail Hawk about 6months old showed up one day and it never left the ground but for 4’ and I noticed it would let me get about twenty feet away which was not normal . I was able to get it some food which it devoured quickly . At the time I was studying to take the Falconers Apprentice test I picked it up with a welding glove and it stayed on my arm all night long after a few feedings I took it to our Veterinarian . The falcon I let go as soon as she was able to fly from a perch to my gloved hand and I would give her a mouse every day when I got home from work I would go out on the balcony with a mouse and whistle for her and she would fly from the woods to the roof of the house to my glove. These and so many other experiences with wild animals like baby raccoons ,squirrels even baby opossums . A female was hit by a car and killed earlier that day . I knew that they may have babies in their pouches that are still alive and sure enough there were three. I raised them for a few months. I’m sorry for boring you with these experiences but they bring back cso many fond memories . I’m sure you have your own.I had two orphaned fawns I feed 5 times a day 24 hrs. It would take them 10 minutes to come from the woods . They were my childrens favorites. Mine is my Mustang Horse h3 was adopted from the BLM from Wyoming. He was wilder than the deer when I brought him home 15 years ago and he is still one of my closest friends. Thanks for you4 time and I look forward to hearing from you. Have a Very Blessed Day!
