Rare and typically difficult to breed, Vasa Parrots are endemic to Madagascar. The Vasa Parrot is an interesting species, unlike other parrots. The best thing about a baby Vasa Parrot is that they make fantastic pets. Unfortunately relatively few are bred In the US. The one pictured was hatched on May 8th and is now close to being weaned.
