Best Friends Animal Society Parrot Gar

We would like to welcome Alex the Great Billed Parrot! Alex came to us from a smaller rescue, which had received him with no prior history or information. They can tell he has had a blunt force trauma to his beak and has an injury to his left foot, but have no idea when or where these injuries occurred. He is emotionally compromised, frightened of people, and it will take us a long time and a lot of work to get him where he wants to interact with humans. Alex also has some very specific dietary needs that can be very expensive to meet. We think he is absolutely gorgeous and are happy to welcome him to the Parrot Garden familyfor more info
