Shoulder Bird Sweet Lovebird

This pretty bird is a whiteface violet male lovebird. He is 2 years old, LBS '13 close banded, and a very sweet pet. He is the tamest lovebird I've ever had. I will only sell him to someone who will allow him more out-of-cage time than I'm able to. He loves to sit on his owner's shoulder and gently preen his owner's hair, ears, and cheeks. If you don't like birds on your shoulder, please don't inquire about him. He's used to a female owner--I don't know how he would do with a male. His new owner(s) must be familiar with and accepting of the lovebird vocalizations since he "chirps" a lot. He doesn't talk, but does make kissing sounds. He is fully flighted and a good flier, but so tame that his unclipped wings have never been a problem. However, he knows how to lift up cage doors, and will let himself out if there are no locks/ties on them. He was DNA tested, but I do not have his certificate. He is too tame for breeding anyway, so please only good pet homes inquire about him. He is on Roudybush pellets, and gets seed as an occasional treat.
