- Ruppell Poicephalus babies have finally hatched!!!! 3 beautiful babies will be available. Banded and will be pulled this week for hand feeding. These are super rare in the US!!! Females have that amazing blue you see in the pics (on the abdomen and back), along with some yellow on wing and a charcoal body and red eyes. Males do not have the blue, though the father does have some soft blue feathering on the abdomen. Young have more yellow and little blue... develop that with adult molt.
These birds are very quiet and would be appropriate for apartments/condos. They have extremely sweet and loving personalities.
50% deposits will be accepted at 4 weeks ($425.00). $850.00 total if deposit is placed at that time. DNA will be included, shipping available for additional fee. Located in Maple Park, IL.
