- 2025 DNA Sexed Female I have a surplus of females, so I’ve decided to list my latest baby. Very rare species nowadays! This species can make a great educational/zoo bird, or can make awesome pet. They have a very sweet temperament, and are full of energy! Please understand that lories/lorikeets are a fruit and nectar eating species of parrot. All of my babies are weaned onto a quality nectar formula that I make and market myself (LoriesChoice.com). They require a high moisture diet, in conjunction with low iron fruits and some veggies. A 50% deposit is required to reserve this baby. This is to ensure the baby has a new home secured! A wellness exam will be performed by my Exotic Avian Veterinarian in the DFW metroplex, prior to going to her new home. A contract will also be provided with a health guarantee.
