- Hand-fed Baby Alexandrine Parrots make excellent pets and are believed to have been kept as pets for several hundred years. In captivity they’re not nearly as common as their close relative, the Indian Ringneck Parrot. They’re also huge in comparison, adults measuring 23 to 24 inches from head to the tip of the tail. An added bonus is they’re great talkers. These are very handsome birds with their pastel colors, smooth plumage and long tail. We have three unrelated, surgically sexed and tattooed pairs from two unrelated pairs available. These birds were all hand-fed by me and are now weaned. Shipping to your nearest airport or local pick up are both available. We are offering them for $3000.00 per pair and I encourage anyone interested in getting a pair to shop around and compare prices.
