- This guy is the best all around macaw I've ever raised. He potty trained in two days and learns words quite easily. Very gentle, fun, and interactive he can play very well by himself (something I focus on with a great deal of consistency). He's had multiple hands on him at one time and handled it without the slightest discomfort. I don't overstimulate baby macaws by placing them on the floor or over-handling them at an inappropriately young age. It's been my experience that this approach yields a very balanced temperament. The genetics are solid as well. His parents can be handled when not breeding. He's a big guy at a little over 1300 grams. I have tons of photos. His weaning diet is varied and I can send a list of foods made available to him. He is $1350 and will come with a vet visit prior to shipping or delivery. He has been harness trained.
