Lorikeets are very active and colorful members of the parrot family. Lorikeets make very tame and loving pets when properly hand-fed. Unlike most parrots, Lorikeets eat a liquid nectar diet and fruit. There are prepared nectar powders available that you mix with water and replace daily. This baby should be weaned and ready to go to its new home by the beginning of June.
