- This pair was put together in January after a side by side courtship of 3 months. He is very protective of her and has begun throwing shavings out of the nest box, so it would appear all is well with them. I would like to trade this pair for either a pair of Blue headed Pionus or Bronze winged Pionus. On my pair, both are close banded and the female is 2 and the male is 5. The male at one time was semi-tame, but not since he got his girl.
