- Good morning, I have decided my male african grey would rather have the company of people instead of his mate. He is NOT tame but is not a crazy go after you biter. He will nip when you least expect it. With some training and attention I think he could become a tame pet. He was DNA tested does talk laugh and makes different sounds. He will come with his cage. I bought his cage used but it is in good condition. Could make a playtop on it. It did not have wheels when I bought it so I put wood on the bottom with wheels. Someone may have wheels to fit it. Please don't buy him just because he talks. I am looking for someone who has large bird experience and is willing to work with him. Will not hold or accept payments. $500.00 for him and his cage.
