- These beauties are native to Brazil. Popular for their gorgeous colors, they will be spectacular in coloration as a mature bird. Full colors do not develop until about one year of age. Mostly green as babies, the yellow and orange will vary until adult.
These birds are usually extremely loving and snuggly with their owners. Not considered to be great talkers, a Sun Conure may learn a few words, but usually it's less than a dozen.
