- Harlequin macaw babies have hatched and I will soon be hand feeding. This is a good choice for those who would like a large bird with a calm demeanor. They're known for having a laid back and affectionate personalities. Highly intelligent and strikingly beautiful not to mention very comical. As adults could get up to 35-40 inches from beak to tip of tail feathers. Getting a bird when it's just been weaned is a good idea that way you can teach the bird the things you want not what someone else has taught them. Most of the time the birds will start to say a few words before they're fully weaned. If interested please let me know as soon as you can so you don't miss out.
