They are/will be closed leg banded--WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? The band indicates when & where the baby was born. Also, if the bird is ever lost, it's owner can be traced through the breeder's identifying information.
The babies are raised onto a high quality seed, pellet and vegetable mix. They grow up in our living room and experience the sights & sounds of a home environment from an early age...raising your bird in this manner will ensure a higher pet-quality companion than those raised in commercial aviaries.
