- North Georgia Zoo has a couple Blue & Gold Macaws up for adoption. These are past pets that were re-homed with us. They have been with us for awhile and have been evaluated. They have good temperaments , are healthy and have potential to go back otni a pet lifestyle once you get to know them. They both are mild feather pluckers! I think with the right person and time this can easily be overcome. Adoption fee is $300 each. Homes are screened and must be approved.
