- Ok, here is the deal..
10 yr old male was tame and talking
15 yr old hen was tame and talking ( pictured )
Introduced together about 6 months ago.
she has layed 4 eggs to date but none fertile 'yet'
he is young and most likely they need a bigger cage to pull off breeding successfully.
She sits very tight on nest. Both birds very protective of their cage.
I do not have a flight open for them. They are trying to breed in a macaw cage with a nesting box on the outside of the cage in our office...
help, too loud....lol
