- Bonded pair of Hyacinth macaws for sale. DNA sexed male & female. Male is approx. 19 years old and female approx. 15 years old. Have been together about 3 years, but never given a nestbox by prior owner. Per prior owner, both birds were proven with prior mates. THESE ARE NOT FRIENDLY PETS; THEY ARE BREEDER BIRDS.
Both birds were completed vetted in March 2015 with blood work, disease testing for Polyoma, Chlamydia, PBFD, fecal, etc. - copies of everything available.
Unfortunately my job situation is changing so I find that I cannot keep them.
Have been eating a healthy diet of macadamias, mixed nuts, dried fruit/nut/veggie mixtures, some pellets, as well as fresh fruits/veggies daily.
Asking $14,500 OBO for the pair. Open to REASONABLE offers. May consider driving to meet within reasonable distance.
