- I have a 14 - 18 yo normal GCC who is a sweetheart w/ people & other birds. We lost last month his 8 yo yellow sided mate. I thought he was doing ok as I was giving him lots of attention but I think it just hit him & we're left wanting to fill the hole. I live in N. San Diego & the GCC needs to be in a fairly close radius. I'm hoping for an adult that's tame. A male would probably be best. If you are moving or no longer able to care for your bird, I would love to. I gave a nice cage for two & feed healthy fresh & pelleted food. I'm home a good deal so I supervise when birds are out. Then, Cooper would have company when I'm gone. Thank you.
