I have two DNA certified hand-fed sweet 9 week old female Moustache Parakeet babies available for sale. Hatch dates for the females were 4/17 and 4/19. In the family photo above, mom is in the back on the left and dad is in the right in the back. The male of the three babies (ALREADY SOLD) is on the left in the front, with the two female babies to his right (AVAILABLE). Mom and dad are also in the two photos of individuals, mom with the black beak.
Moustaches are awesome birds, being less noisy compared to most other parrots. They can talk. Mom and dad talk frequently and have NEVER bitten. Moustaches have a wonderful temperament. These birds have been raised indoors, as mom and dad have also been and have been handled a lot. They can even be picked up, your hand around them, and carried without biting, and are getting really good at stepping up on fingers. They are becoming shoulder trained as well.
I live on Phoenix, but we are traveling to the NYC area on July 27th (our flights and accommodations are paid for already), where another buyer will be picking up his bird, after which, my wife and I will be spending some personal time off. For now, the sold male will be travelling with us in a container as carry-on, but it is just as easy to take three in the same carrier and since they are the same breed/clutch, Delta has approved doing so.
I cannot currently ship out of Phoenix until September due to Delta Dash pet shipping restrictions in place. It is currently about 110 degrees during the day in Phoenix and they will not handle/ship any animals here in that temperature. These restrictions do not apply if they travel with us as a pet in the main cabin.

I have owned, handled, and/or trimmed many birds all of my life, including cockatoos, macaws, conures, greys, ringnecks, cockatiels and others, but Moustaches are by FAR my favorite parrot and are truly the hidden treasure of the parrot world.

A 50% deposit will be required. We accept PayPal. There will be additional reasonable costs for you share of carry-on fees and any additional commuting fees in town.
