This baby has white toenails if your looking for that pied gene. We used the absolute largest specimen breeding stock available. The Massive Green-Winged Macaw (Ara chloroptera) x Blue & Gold ( Ara ararauna) utilized for this Macaw makes for a very affectionate hybrid with striking colors . Harlequin Macaw typically takes on the natural docile side of the Green-winged Macaw. The word 'Harlequin' is defined as clown and these playful birds can truly live up to that reputation and have outstanding pet quality.
We believe our Harlequin Macaws are some of the largest and best colored Harlequin's in the market today.
Why we are different? We do not buy babies from many different breeders and raise together to resell. Our babies come from a closed aviary since 1999, that means we do not buy, trade babies and or adult birds period. We have not introduced any new stock since 1999. We do not sell at Bird Fairs, Trade Shows and or let our babies be handled as in a Pet shop environment. This assures that you the buyer is getting top quality babies that has not been exposed to sickness and or disease.
